Olamilekan Adeola was born to Ayinde Adeola Ogunleye and Abeeni Olasunbo Ogunleye, in Lagos. Senator Olamilekan Adeola joined active politics at the beginning of the Fourth Republic. Elected to the Lagos State House of Assembly to represent Alimosho State Constituency 2, he served from 2003-2007 and again from 2007-2011.
